[trailer]: Batman: Arkham Knight ‘Father to Son’ Trailer

The last in the Arkham series, Batman: Arkham Knight is coming to Xbox One, PS4, and PC later this year with developer Rocksteady Studios taking back the reigns after Warner Bros Montreal had a go with Arkham Origins last year. The story takes place one year after the events of Arkham City with the Joker still presumed dead. From the speech in the trailer, it sounds like Scarecrow will be headlining the villains this time.

Dying Light will be out later this year on PC, PS3, PS4, 360, and Xbox One.

[trailer]: Evolve ‘Happy Hunting’ Trailer

This game is definitely going on my list for games to look out for in 2014. The creators of Left 4 Dead are taking the 4-player co-op formula and pitting them against a fifth player who controls a monstrous beast that evolves and grows more powerful the longer the game lasts. Monster Hunter is a series that comes to mind when I think about this game. Look for Evolve later this year when it comes to PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

[news]: Here are Your PlayStation Plus Games for February

PlayStation Plus February

[via PlayStation.Blog]:

Typically when you think of February, your mind goes to chocolates, flowers, and other lovey-dovey things. So we thought we’d celebrate this sappy month by scaring the bejesus out of you with Outlast on PS4.
We also have some great single-player PS3 experiences, including Metro: Last Light, a first-person shooter with an interesting take on morality, and Remember Me, a third-person action adventure where you’ll take down an evil corporation by beating lots of people up with your own unique combos and messing with people’s memories. If you have a significant other, you might be able to rope him or her into some bank-robbing action with Payday 2 on PS3. After all, everyone likes stealing stuff. I mean, uh… nevermind.
Finally, two PS Vita titles are joining the Instant Game Collection: Street Fighter X Tekken and ModNation Racers: Road Trip. Both include functionality with their respective PS3 versions. Fight against your friends in Street Fighter X Tekken no matter what platform they have, or download your previously made PS3 creations and use them in ModNation Racers: Road Trip.

We had already reported earlier this month that Outlast would be a part of this next month’s PS+ games, which I’m not looking forward to experiencing, but definitely going to be playing. I’m also looking forward to getting my hands on the 3 PS3 titles coming. All of them are games I had wanted to try out last year, but never got around to. I actually already own to 2 Vita games announced, but they’re both great and I recommend them for anyone who has a chance to play them. This is going to be another great month for PlayStation owners.

[image(s)]: Three New Screens For Tom Clancy’s The Division

The Division 01
Ubisoft has been keeping tight-lipped about the upcoming Tom Clancy’s The Division, but they definitely aren’t shying away from letting us look at the game. It’s definitely still a gorgeous piece of work. The last I’ve seen from the game was it’s announcement at last year’s E3, but it’s nice to know it’s still going strong behind closed doors. Still no release date, but hopefully we’ll see in later this year. Until then, proceed to drool over the latest batch of screenshots. Continue reading

[news]: Halloween is Coming Early With Call of Duty Ghost’s First Map Pack

Because, why not? Announced today, Call of Duty: Ghosts will be getting it’s first round of downloadable maps labeled “Onslaught” brings three new multiplayer maps, a new extinction map, and two new weapons. The most interesting of these things being the ability to play as Michael Myers from the Halloween movies in the “Fog” map. As out of place as this might seem, the Call of Duty franchise has always gone a little crazy when it comes to DLC maps, starting with the zombie mode maps from Black Ops. Continue reading

[news]: Rayman Legends For Next-Gen Consoles Gets Pushed FORWARD(?)

Rayman Legends Next Gen Release FEATURE

Well this is certainly something we’re not used to seeing, though it does happen occasionally rarely, but Ubisoft has announced they will be bumping the release date of Rayman Legends on PS4 and XBOX ONE up to February 18th. That a whole 10 days ahead of its original February 28th release date! Amazing isn’t it? Continue reading

[rumor]: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Coming to Next-Gen Consoles?

Though nothing has been officially announced through Bethesda or any other official outlet, it’s worth noting that for a brief part of yesterday, the Bethesda website had listed Skyrim as coming to PS4 and Xbox ONE. This was later taken down after news spread across other video game sites throughout the day. This could have been a mistake from someone working on the site, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed.

[trailer]: Alien: Isolation 5 Things You NEED to Know

Aside from everything we touched on earlier, here’s a quick recap with the developers on everything you need to know about Alien: Isolation

[news]: Alien: Isolation is Going to Scare the S— Out of You

Though we’ve technically known about it for months, Sega and The Creative Assembly (the team behind the Total War series) have finally lifted the veil off Alien: Isolation, a new FPS-survival horror game for PS4, Xbox One, and their respective current gen counterparts. After the absolute failure of Aliens: Colonial Marines, Creative Assembly has quite a lot riding on this title to bring this franchise back into good standings. The first thing you’ll notice when looking at the title for Isolation is that this is an “Alien” title, not “Aliens”. Continue reading
