The last in the Arkham series, Batman: Arkham Knight is coming to Xbox One, PS4, and PC later this year with developer Rocksteady Studios taking back the reigns after Warner Bros Montreal had a go with Arkham Origins last year. The story takes place one year after the events of Arkham City with the Joker still presumed dead. From the speech in the trailer, it sounds like Scarecrow will be headlining the villains this time.
Watch as we blast through our first multiplayer match of the Titanfall Beta on Xbox One!

Stop what you’re doing right now and watch this 13 minute gameplay video for South Park: The Stick of Truth. Ubisoft wants to keep us laughing all the way to March 4th.
Is this a dream? Is this really happening? I was starting to feel a little like Duke Nukem Forever all over again, but it’s not! Ubisoft announced today that South Park: The Stick of Truth has officially gone gold! That means we will actually be playing the game on March 4th. Stock up on cheesy poofs!
The team behind Dead Island, Techland, turns up the speed with Dying Light, infusing Mirror’s Edge with Left 4 Dead. This trailer shows us how the game looks running on the PlayStation 4 as well as give us a chance to see the multiple types of zombies you’ll come across. Dying Light will be out later this year on PC, PS3, PS4, 360, and Xbox One.
This game is definitely going on my list for games to look out for in 2014. The creators of Left 4 Dead are taking the 4-player co-op formula and pitting them against a fifth player who controls a monstrous beast that evolves and grows more powerful the longer the game lasts. Monster Hunter is a series that comes to mind when I think about this game. Look for Evolve later this year when it comes to PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
It’s exactly what it sounds like. Here we have Mega Man creator, Keiji Inafune, playing an early build of his new game Mighty No. 9. According to the youtube notes attached to the video, this was from Inafune’s speech at the 2014 D.I.C.E. Awards.
Do you like Lego games? Are you planning on seeing The Lego Movie in theaters? Pick up a retail copy of The Lego Movie Videogame, out now for PC/PS3/PS4/VITA/XBOX 360/XBOX ONE/3DS/Wii U, and get a voucher that’s good for $7.50 off admission to the movie! I’m not too sure what to expect from the game, but given TT Fusion’s recent releases for the series, it’s definitely worth checking out. I’ll let you know more once I get my hands on it. Has anyone already seen the movie or played the game? Let us know what you think!

Check out 17 minutes of Thief gameplay on the PS4 with the game’s lead level designer, Daniel Windfield Schmidt.
It’s not much, but it’s definitely great to see the game coming along. With a release date set for 2015, I’ll pretty much take anything at this point. Continue reading
Ubisoft has been keeping tight-lipped about the upcoming Tom Clancy’s The Division, but they definitely aren’t shying away from letting us look at the game. It’s definitely still a gorgeous piece of work. The last I’ve seen from the game was it’s announcement at last year’s E3, but it’s nice to know it’s still going strong behind closed doors. Still no release date, but hopefully we’ll see in later this year. Until then, proceed to drool over the latest batch of screenshots. Continue reading
So I came about this little gem today. Nidhogg is one of the latest indie games taking a graphical leap backward. This game pits you against a friend, or computer AI, as you wage a ‘tug-of-war’ style progression to get to the end of each level. Gameplay is very simplistic with only the two buttons designated to performing actions and the standard four for movement. Players have at each other in a brutal jousting sword fight some added acrobatics for good measure. Continue reading
One of the crazier games to come around since Katamari Damacy, Octodad: Dadliest Catch has been given a release date. PC, MAC, & Linux users can get their suction cups on the game January 30th through the usual digital distributions (Steam, GOG, Humble, etc.). The game is also headed to PS4, though no set date has been announced. Continue reading
